Rev. William Mitchell
Pastor
As the Pastor, William, is the primary spiritual leader, preacher, and teacher for this growing congregation. Pastor Mitchell was ordained in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and has served congregations in Missouri, Nebraska, Kentucky, Texas, and Illinois — most recently The Federated Church in Illinois. He holds a B.A. from Culver-Stockton College and an earned Master of Divinity from Texas Christian University's Brite Divinity School and Phillips University Graduate Seminary.
A Missouri native from a small town near Hannibal, he's a father of three — his youngest, Cheresse, is in college in Illinois — and a proud grandfather of five, all under six.
His devotionals land each week in First Cup, and his longer thinking in The Long View.

Dr. Ruth Krusemark
Organist & Chancel Choir Director
Ruth was raised in this church and as a teenager first filled in at the organ on Easter Sunday, 1966, and she has never stopped.
The classical music of the church inspires us as she leads worship, both as the organist (beautiful pipe organ!) and as the choir master. This classic music adds so much to the spiritual experience of worship. Singing in Ruth's choir is a wonderful spiritual experience!
She'd love to have you join the choir — no experience required. Come at 8:30 Sunday for practice and sing with the choir at 9:30.

Michael D. Connell Jr.
Digital Communications & Media Manager
Michael keeps the church's website, phone apps, and online channels current — the Sunday message online each week, the short clips, the blog, and the pages you're reading right now. If something here looks wrong or out of date, he's the one to tell.
An Army veteran, drummer, and software developer, Michael lives in Leavenworth and works with the office and Pastor Mitchell to make sure what's online matches what's happening on 7th Street.

Patty Phillippe
Custodian
Patty has kept this building shining for more than twenty years.
She and her husband Roger have three grown children and seven grandchildren — and yes, she earned the Girl Scout God and Country award as a teenager, which explains a lot.
