CWF for short. This is where the women of First Christian meet, serve, and look out for each other. Any age, any stage. Come once and see if it fits.
When we meet
CWF meeting — last Tuesday of the month, 1:00 PM, Wolf Hall at the church.

Sewing & Service — second Tuesday of the month, 1:00–4:00 PM, Wolf Hall. Bring your project, or just bring yourself — you don't have to know how to sew.
Coffee & Conversation — every Thursday, 10:00 AM, Paolucci's, 113 S 3rd St. No agenda. Members, friends, and anyone you'd like to bring.
Can't make a daytime meeting? CWF is looking at adding a monthly evening meeting for women who work days. Tell the office and we'll let you know as it comes together.

WHAT CWF DOES
Prayer chain — if you or someone you love needs prayer, call the church office at (913) 367-3036. CWF gets the word out by phone and text the same day.
Quilts — a handmade baby quilt for every new baby in the church family. And when an Atchison family loses their home to a fire, a warm quilt for each person.
Nursing homes — walker bags so residents can carry their things, and aprons for mealtimes. The aprons are $5 if you'd like one for your own kitchen.
Shut-ins — Christmas crafts made by hand and delivered to members who can't get out.
Twice a year, everyone's invited — a June luncheon with a guest speaker, with ladies from other churches joining us. And a Christmas luncheon the second Tuesday of December for the whole church family, men included.
